Welcome to the PACGDC website.
The Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC) is an Iowa
not-for-profit corporation. It is the sponsoring organization that holds
the license for the Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Palo Alto County.
In accordance with Iowa law and its operating agreement, PACGDC receives
funding from Wild Rose operations. Funds received are distributed to deserving
non-profit organizations in Palo Alto County. Our mission is to strengthen
our communities for future generations by creating partnerships, leveraging resources,
and being a catalyst in identifying and supporting community needs.

Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC) hosted its Seventh Annual Grant Awards Celebration on Saturday, March 2nd, at the Wild Rose Casino & Resort in Emmetsburg. Non-profit fees paid by the Casino in 2012 totaled $1,932,747.13. This allowed for grant awards for 82 recipients representing 37 non-profit organizations, 5 schools and all nine communities in the county.
Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation was awarded $60,000 for marketing programs and projects. Through the Variety Club of Iowa, PACGDC partnered with the Wild Rose Casino, Emmetsburg, to present a special award to Horizon’s Unlimited of Palo Alto County, Inc. – A new VAN! PACGDC would like to thank Wild Rose Entertainment, L.L.C., for their part in benefitting the communities and citizens of Palo Alto County.
