Welcome to the PACGDC website.

The Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC) is an Iowa not-for-profit corporation. It is the sponsoring organization that holds the license for the Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Palo Alto County. In accordance with Iowa law and its operating agreement, PACGDC receives funding from Wild Rose operations. Funds received are distributed to deserving non-profit organizations in Palo Alto County. Our mission is to strengthen our communities for future generations by creating partnerships, leveraging resources, and being a catalyst in identifying and supporting community needs.

2007 Grant Application is Available

This application includes details and forms for applying for a 2007 Grant from PACGDC. Grant Applications will be accepted from October 1, 2007 until December 28, 2007. For more information, please view our Frequently Asked Questions page.


Grant Process Educational Meetings

Members of the PACGDC board have organized a series of educational meetings to be held at the PACGDC office. Representatives of any organization that is interested in learning more about the grant process are encouraged to attend. All meetings are open to the public and are scheduled as follows:

Monday, September 24, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday, September 25, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 26,  7:00-8:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 27, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

All meetings are located at the PACGDC Office, 910 Broadway, in Emmetsburg.

Anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to download the Grant Application Form and bring a copy to the meeting. This will facilitate better understanding and generate questions that may come up in the application process.
