PACGDC Announces Ninth Grant Cycle
Educational meetings will be held at Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation’s (PACGDC) office located at 910 Broadway in Emmetsburg. Meetings are open to the public and are scheduled as follows: Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m. Organizations interested in submitting a grant application are strongly urged to attend.
PACGDC will begin accepting grant applications by mail from October 15, 2014, through December 31, 2014. Applications must be postmarked by December 31, 2014, to be eligible for consideration. The grant application form and instructions along with other helpful information can be found on the website at www.paloaltogaming.org. Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC) hosted its Eighth Annual Grant Awards Celebration on Saturday, March 2, 2014, at the Wild Rose Casino & Resort in Emmetsburg. Non-profit fees paid by the Casino in 2013 totaled $1,923,263.45. This allowed for grant awards for 59 recipients representing 44 non-profit organizations or government entities, five schools and all nine communities in the county. Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation was awarded $60,000 for marketing programs and projects. PACGDC would like to thank Wild Rose Entertainment, L.L.C., for partnering with us to benefit the communities and citizens of Palo Alto County.
